Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 9, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Doc Weather / Charles Clottin (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Social Media Liaison Service (dashboard, Mac app, and agents).
2. Information we handle
- Account & profile data: handles, display names, platform account IDs you connect.
- Credentials you provide: API keys, access tokens, OAuth secrets (stored as configuration secrets; not intended for public display).
- Content: videos, articles, captions, metadata, and bundle files you supply.
- Usage & ops data: job logs, post results, engagement metrics, alerts, error traces.
- Technical data: IP addresses and request metadata may be processed by hosting providers (e.g., Railway) when you access the dashboard.
3. How we use information
- Operate posting, scheduling, engagement, analytics, and the dashboard.
- Generate AI-assisted captions or replies when you enable those features.
- Maintain security, debug issues, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
4. Sharing
We share information only as needed to run the Service, including with:
- Social platforms you connect (to publish content and read comments/metrics).
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, logging).
- AI providers when content generation or reply features are enabled.
- Authorities when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention
Content, logs, and metrics are retained as needed for the Service and your configuration (for example, analytics retention settings). You may delete local library files at any time. Revoking platform tokens on the provider side stops new API access.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures such as environment secrets, access controls, and HTTPS on the hosted dashboard. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your devices and never post tokens in public chats.
7. Your choices
- Disconnect social accounts and rotate API credentials.
- Disable AI replies or auto-engage features in settings.
- Run the Service in dry-run mode to avoid live publishing.
- Delete local content folders and request removal of hosted operational data where feasible.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). Do not provide children’s personal information through the Service.
9. International users
If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where our providers operate.
