Violations of Service & Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: August 9, 2026
This policy defines prohibited uses of the Social Media Liaison Service and the consequences of violations. It supplements the Terms of Service.
1. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only to manage content and accounts you own or are authorized to operate, in compliance with law and each platform’s rules (X, Instagram/Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
2. Prohibited conduct (violations)
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Spam or manipulate: mass unsolicited messages, engagement bait farms, fake metrics, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
- Harass or harm: threats, hate, bullying, doxxing, or content intended to cause severe distress.
- Misrepresent weather or safety: fabricate warnings, watches, or emergency instructions; claim official government status you do not have.
- Infringe rights: upload copyrighted media or trademarks without permission; violate publicity/privacy rights.
- Illegal content: content that is unlawful in applicable jurisdictions (including CSAM, terrorism facilitation, fraud).
- Security abuse: attempt to breach accounts, scrape others’ private data, reverse engineer for harm, or overload systems.
- Credential abuse: use stolen tokens, share secrets publicly, or access another person’s accounts without authorization.
- Circumvent platform bans: evade suspensions or API restrictions on connected networks.
- Malware / phishing: distribute malware or deceptive links through automated posts or replies.
- Child exploitation: any sexual content involving minors; zero tolerance.
3. Platform rules still apply
Even if an action is technically possible through the agent, it remains a violation if it breaches X, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, or other provider policies. We may prioritize those rules when investigating reports.
4. Reporting violations
Report abuse or policy concerns via linktr.ee/URP with relevant post links, timestamps, and screenshots when possible.
5. Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- Warn and require corrective action.
- Disable auto-posting, auto-replies, or AI features.
- Disconnect accounts or revoke Service access.
- Delete operational data associated with abusive use.
- Report unlawful activity to platforms or law enforcement.
We may act without prior notice when needed to protect users, systems, or the public (especially safety-critical false weather emergencies).
6. Appeals
If you believe enforcement was in error, contact us with your handle, approximate time of the action, and a brief explanation. We will review in good faith but are not obligated to restore access where risk remains high.
